At the “Will And Pleasure” of Past Grand Master, Anthony T. Stafford to have a regular Prince Hall Masonic Lodge in the city of Apopka. Three men, Sterling D. Redding, Lonnie Jackson, and William Talmadge Robinson IV founded The Beehive Study Club on August 15, 2013. The purpose of the study club would be to come together and study the principles of Freemasonry while also providing minor assistance to members of the Apopka community. By November of 2013 the study club had grown from three members to twelve members. On December 3, 2013, Mr. Sterling D. Redding petitioned the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge, Most Ancient and Honorable Fraternity Free and Accepted Masons Prince Hall Affiliated, Florida and Belize Central America Jurisdiction, Incorporated for admittance into the jurisdiction.
Beehive Lodge No. 779 was chartered on February 21, 2014, in Apopka, Florida. The original members of Beehive Lodge are: Sterling D. Redding, William Talmadge Robinson IV, Lonnie Jackson, Howard Maddox, John Ranglin, Michael Eric Scott, Mark Jones, William Munson, Mike Mitchell, Kenny Wilson, Joe Brown, and Frank Francois. Junior Grand Warden Gus Harris installed the following officers at the chartering ceremony:

On March 7, 2014 Mr. Theron Waters was accepted into Beehive Lodge No. 779 by a unanimous vote of the membership.
